The Ugly Truth

When I think back to how this whole cookie business started, I must say its not like it happened only yesterday. I needed a little side job to support myself so I decided I wanted to make the ultimate chocolate cake. My dad bought me my first Kitchen Aid 6 qt mixer, and I thought I was on my way to being the best chocolate cake maker of all time, but that was not to be.

Previous Next My husband got these as part of a huge gift basket from a golf tournament. Out of all the items in the gift basket, this was not the most appealing and my thought was to give it away. But one night I needed something sweet to have with my glass of wine and decided to open the jar to at least have one. Ohhhh Mann…YUMMMMMY !!!!! I’ve been having one cookie a night with my wine since and the jar is almost empty. Need to find me more soon. I can now say that these were the absolute best part of the gift basket 🙂 Cheryl Cheryl I love these cookies. My friend who sent me a bag several years ago told me that the Ugly Cookie had gone out of business. When I visited Hilo Hawaii a couple of weeks ago I was ELATED to find the great Ugly Cookies at the Hilo town KTA! I have several bags with me in Ohio now! Yum!
